Guitar Trek “Australia’s premier guitar quartet” will be performing works by Manuel de Falla, Nigel Westlake, Johannes Brahms, Scott Joplin, and Alfonso Montes.

The Taverner Consort of Voicesmusic directors Susan Briedis and Julie Blewitt
About Love. The a cappella programme will include early music, folk songs, art songs and Australian Advent music all dealing with the subject of love, human and divine.

Works by Australian composers, written around 1915 to commemorate the centenary of the ANZAC landing, including Alfred Hill and Iris de Cairos-Rego. 1915 was also the year of the opening of the NSW State Conservatorium of Music – thus music by Alfred Hill, de Cairos-Rego and Roy Agnew. And music by Robert Weatherburn

optional tour of the carillon, and refreshments in the ante-room from 3pm to 3.30pm.

Saturday 22nd November at 1600hrs,
Glebe Town Hall, 160 St John's Rd,:
Josie and the Emeralds Josie Ryan, soprano; Brooke Green, Imogen Granwal (viol) and Victoria Watts (viol), Fiona Ziegler, Catherine Upex, viols; Jacques Emery double bass and percussion. Music for St Cecilia’s Day by Purcell, Monteverdi and Brooke Green.
