Darren Saady: Pianist

Darren Saady completed a Bachelor of Music in piano performance under Elizabeth Powell at the Sydney Conservatorium and a Masters degree with Natasha Vlassenko and Max Olding at the Queensland Conservatorium. In 2003 he undertook more postgraduate study at the Musikhochschule in Trossingen, Germany. He has played in masterclasses given by Christopher Elton, Lars
Vogt and Lamar Crowson among others and participated at the Townsville Festival of Chamber Music.

Of special interest to him is song accompaniment and choral conducting - he is currently directing the choir of the University of Technology, Sydney and works with the Sydney Community College choir as pianist.
