Glebe Music Festival |
In conjunction with The Glebe Society Inc 8th Glebe Music Festival Wednesday 16 December 1998 at 2000hrs Philip Green (Clarinet) Milhaud: Duo Concertante Philip Green is currently in his honours year studying for his Bachelor of Music degree with Francesco Celata. He has performed concerti with several orchestras including the Sydney Symphony, the Hunter Symphony, the Tasmanian Symphony and the Newcastle Wind Orchestra. This year he performed the Mozart Clarinet Concerto with the Sydney Youth Orchestra and the Sydney Conservatorium Symphony conducted by Larry Rachlef. Philip has participated in several Australian National Academy programmes including the recent Australian premier of the opera "Powder her Face" at the Brisbane Festival. He also premiered two of his own works in recitals at the Sydney Conservatorium and has represented the Conservatorium on chamber music tours. Philip was Principal Clarinet in the Sydney Youth Orchestra for two years and performed in the Australian Youth Orchestra in 1997. He has performed on several occasions this year with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and joined them on their tour of the United States in November.
