TWO WORKS BY GRAEME
RAWSON:
ARIA - One of three pieces written for the wedding of Juliet Dowd
and Gerald Grant, August 24, 1991. The music was intended to be
lyrical but not frivolous, expressing the joys, recollections and
anxieties of the day.
AFFIRMATION OF THE
GLORY OF SIGHT -
Written for Professor Fred Hollows and first performed during the
Austcare programme at the Great Hall, University of Sydney, November
1, 1991, in aid of the ophthalmic work in Eritrea.
GRAEME RAWSON (ORGAN)
We are indebted to the Good Samaritan Sisters for graciously allowing
the use of the Chapel. We also thank the Music Department, University
of Sydney, for lending us the chamber organ.
